Objectives and Contents: This course deals with the modeling and simulation of complex production systems. Key topics include queueing systems, simulation methods, data acquisition and interpretation, and experimental design of simulation studies. With the help of the AnyLogic software, students develop agent-based and discrete-event simulation models. In the final project, they create their own model, carry out a calculation study and present their results in an oral presentation.
